Timing is everything
Timing could be as important as how many calories you eat
Eating a big breakfast may bring you weight down or help keep it down a recent report has found.
It was reported in the medical journal ‘Obesity’ that a large breakfast – one containing approximately 700 calories – is ideal for losing weight and reducing your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol. The researchers conclude that when we eat our food probably matters as much as what and how many calories we eat.
With this in mind perhaps treat yourself to a protein rich healthy bacon and eggs breakfast once a week. Certainly a breakfast treat for Australia Day. When the bacon is lean and grilled, eaten with eggs and whole meal toast, then this treat may not be as damaging to your diet as at first you may thing.
Remember the old saying “breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper”.
